My Story

I got my first guitar for my 9th birthday and haven't looked back since. Over the years, I've grown in my love for guitar and teaching others to play. Being able to play guitar freely and confidently has brought me so much joy, and that drives me to help others experience the same thing in their playing.

After studying education and music in college and receiving my professional teaching certification, I decided to combine my passions by teaching guitar. Along with 18+ years of playing guitar, I've had 11+ years of experience playing alongside live bands with beginner and professional musicians alike.

When I'm not teaching guitar and crafting helpful tips and videos for my students, you can find me spending time with friends and fam, sipping coffee with my hubby, writing songs, enjoying SoFlo's gorgeous weather, serving at church, and noodling around on guitar (of course).

 If you wanna know more, here are 5 things you don't know about me...

• There are tons of beaches in SoFlo, but the east coast ones will always be my fave :)
• I love perfecting the art of making Cuban coffee (where all my cafecito drinkers at?) 
• I enjoy watching old black & white reruns of I Love Lucy (classssic)
• Piano was actually my first instrument! In addition to guitar, I love playing ukulele and singing
• I name all my guitars (you gotta name your babies, right?!)
